Why am I no longer able to conceal my account balance? I really don't want certain people seeing how much I have in. What is the reason and logic behind the change and what purpose does it serve???

There are two or three threads about it in the Horseracing Forum.

BF say it has been removed for Saer Gambling / Regulatory reasons.

My guess is they are being driven by this inthe GC's rules.

https://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/standards/remote-gambling-and-software-technical-standards/rts-1-customer-account-information

"RTS requirement 1A
Where customers hold a credit or debit balance, the pages or screens used for gambling and to move money into and out of accounts must display the customer’s current account balance, in the currency of their account for example dollars, euros or pounds sterling, whenever that customer is logged in. Thanks for the reply. I messaged them on Fbook and they didn't give me a definite reason other than to say it was a regulatory change which came from a higher department, and one which we had to abide by. It's very frustrating on 2 counts for me: 1. If I have been out, I like to come back and  look one by one at the settlements, whereas seeing one's balance all in one go takes out the thrill of doing that, ie if my balance was £500 when I left, and hasn't changed, I know I've had no winners. Also, yesterday my internet was down, and I went next door to ask to use the bloke's computer to adjust some of my bets, and I really didn't want him knowing how much money I have in there, for obvious reasons.

"I really didn't want him knowing how much money I have in there, for obvious reasons." - which of the obvious reasons - bugger all, or enough to be worth murdering you for?

Seriously, I get your reaction and that of others but I also get the GC not wanting muppets to hide from themselves the fact they've done the lot.

I cannot see it changing back, either way.
