That is typical of betunfair. The gambling commission should be ashamed of themselves.

Go the message back from BA support:
"They are not cancelling the bet, they are modifying the price. They make the price modification 12 seconds before it happens (with the same delay that you see), but when it occurs the price is seen to move in a single update.
You'd see the same with you own bets if you were to run a second instance of Bet Angel on another PC pointed to the same market. You'd drag your bet to a new price on the ladder on one PC and then it would appear to move in a single update on the other PC after the 12 seconds have passed."
