I think gambling addicts give the industry a bad name. People need to take responsibility of their actions instead of blaming the industry for letting them blow all their cash. When this happens the government get support to charge the industry higher tax to make it look they there cracking down on the problem. With higher tax for bookmakers to pay they just past this charge onto their customers with higher margins.

not sure about exchanges in spain though. none are signed up yet i think because the details havent been finalised.....they were going over them to see what will work.
obviously if they only allow spanish to bet v spanish then no operator will want to buy a license.....
poker has slumped....i think they pay 9% more in buy in fees sports betting has picked up a bit.although i think one major one has said its pulling out.
its early days in these newly regulated countries and they will learn as they go along....
