Busy doing other things but still hang out on Betfair .... so will attempt another challenge.
All the usual ... stuff like betting on anything and everything. Will try and be sensible.

Just had a very big win on under 5.5 goals in the MC match .... always tricky when you lump on (only because today's been a good one) and when to decide to green up ... this case I did it progressively. The sensible approach but boy you can't stop thinking about how much bigger it could have been .... prob end up losing most of it on greyhounds tonight ....
... anything good on TV tonight.Just to be clear I won't be betting as frequently as I used to ... more to life nowadays. |

All I can say is boy was that a (very) good day .... but then again I have done this type of thing many times and then in one fell swoop lose it all ... so I will try and keep a 'notion' of steadiness. Might take it easier tomorrow ... and not forgetting although still around in the office I am busy doing other things during the week to hang out on BF all day. BJT - I do a mix of trading and straight out (mainly lays). I assure you and many others on here will attest to it ... I can blow these challenges apart with some heavy hitting ... usually when I am tired or simply trying to nick some easy money. Nowadays I have many other things going on in life so won't be around that much ... which probably going to be my saviour ....

Been out and about ... downloaded what I thought was betfair app but was only able to bet using sportsbook .... hopefully these show up in the p&l report I do. May not be able to update tonight but will do when I have the chance.

Nice to see a new challenge from you Undern. I stress though, I think your best approach would be to take a sum, like £1K, and then look to make treble the profits before starting again from £1K. I reckon you'd get to the £4K often enough to make it pay handsomely. But you'd still be able to bet the way you like to, and could afford a couple of blow-outs a time and still look to come out ahead after three or four 'goes'.

It would be wise though, no matter how well off you are losing several thousand pounds in a day wouldn't be nice. |

Back in again. On the laptop with poor internet speed. Will update tomorrow night. Bank up to £5996 (including the sportsbook bets). Nice win on lay Southampton, win on South Sydney and Williams in the snooker .... started with a £500 loss this morning on a greyhound race so good to recover and move on .... busy during the weekdays so sadly I can't keep betting so frequently then again it might be a good thing. cheers.

Well, it would seem a silly rule that he needs to keep the money in Betfair. Just take some out and keep it under 5k. Can still keep the profit/loss running to the 100k goal.

Back in ... played a bit. Did well in my cricket bet overnight while just had a very juicy lay of Dream Child (very lucky to win that one) .... contacted BF to try and work out how to run a p&l to include the sportsbook bets that I did on my mobile yesterday.
All sensible suggestions ... my plan was to withdrawal equiv. of £100 per day (I have done this in some of my past challenges). Other option is to leave say £5K in the account and simply withdraw anything above that. Otherwise withdrawal to £1K and then start again. Either way I tend to get lazy in what I do .... for instance my lay on Dream Child was too bigger a bet. So easy to try and look for the big wins rather than do bit by bit. I will defn update just waiting on BF to advise about Sportsbook issue. |

A bit scrambled but finally worked out how to download into excel the sportsbook bets. Basically I made a profit of £770. Another good day ... nice win in the England innings less than 325runs and some big up and down bets tonight. Tired and want to go to bed. Still think there is around £100 short with the updated figures to what is showing in the account but I won't worry about it now. Might do some betting tomorrow night. It is funny how my main "aim" is to make around £100 yet when I get a bit of a run in these challenges I simply bet more and more and bigger and bigger .... oh well off to bed me thinks.

It is ok to bet bigger as you go along, but the trick is to lessen risk as you go.
So whatever % you are risking when you start, when your bank doubles, decrease that percentage by 25%. Say 10% at 1000, would be 7.5% at 2000, 5.6% at 4000, etc etc etc. Stakes are still increasing allowing for more profit, but also less risk of your bankroll going bust the more you go forward. GL |

Been quite poorly so couldn;t be bothered updating last night. Still going okay but I am fully aware I could crash and burn with some of the bets that I place .... at least bets are sensible. One thing though I had a big bet on Bayern Munich match on under 2.5 goals just after they went 2-0 up very quickly.
