I receive this email today and expect it will be of interest to some of you:
I thought you may be interested to know we have switched on cross market cross matching (XMXM) for two matches today;
http://www.betfair.com/exchange/plus/#/football/market/1.117058027 (Smouha v Ismaily)
http://www.betfair.com/exchange/plus/#/football/market/1.117080714 (Trabzonspor v Keciorengucu)
As a reminder, XMXM pools liquidity between the Match Odds, Double Chance, Draw No Bet and most significantly, the Asian Handicap market allowing us to advertise your unmatched bets in more than one market at a time.
I have attached a screen shot (@12:05) comparing like for like matches showing the benefits for Asian Handicap betting. It will also be offered in-play.
Clearly it’s still a new product and whilst we’re happy with testing so far, if you do notice anything untoward- please get in touch.
We hope to have pools between Correct Score, Total Goals and Odd/Even markets by mid-March moving into new sports later in the year.
Yes thanks TP. I thought this would come in once they'd removed the promotional commission on asian handicaps. I can see the benefit of this on handicaps but double chance, odd/even and the like are just pointless markets anyway, in my opinion.

That's not odd. It's exactly like the APIs - the old one (API 6) that was decommissioned last year didn't show prices from 'ordinary' cross matching; the new one (API-NG) does (if you ask it for them). Not surprised the same is true for cross-market cross-matching on the old and new sites.

I'd still say it's odd as it's the first time I've ever seen money on the new site not show up on the old site. Maybe usual for an API but not for the standard sites.
Either way, this is permanent and hey won't be fixing it. The old site will almost certainly be closed down this year.
