Attempting to use the new Betfair rather than the "Old Site", but struggling because of some blatant issues.
Exchange section - Football betting.
The slider which essentially shows the elapsed time of the game, appears to work fine, or at least gets updated. However, the actual elapsed time (in minutes), which is in the same frame/panel, doesn't get updated at the same time, if at all. For example the slider indicates 70 mins, but the time shows an elapsed time of 50 minutes, which incidentally was the time the market (eg. Correct Scores) was entered. Sometimes even shows "due to start" when its been in play for ages.
Forum / Community tab.
One minute its present the next its not.
Basic stuff, and shouldn't even have been made available, if its not working.
God knows what else is there, but its making it unbearable / unworkable.

Thought it might be down to the games being played. The above comments relate to a Russian game earlier today when using "Match View" only. For a Belgium game when "Show Live Video" was offered, the time update was working fine - so intermmittant i thought.
Then a goal was scored - market went suspended and rebuilt - but time - and more importantly the score itself were not updated. Had to change markets and back again for it to update.
Solution - back to "Old Site" ........yet again.
Equally, Forum option was back for the so called bigger game.

Posted ages ago regarding faults with the slider, and they have still not been fixed / corrected.
Today Arsenal v Liverpool game. Goal goes in, and after the usual suspend, the little ball icon is displayed. Unfortunately, the icon is ahead of the slider. Worse still, the time shown in relation to the slider, is a minute behind the icon for the ball. Hopefully, the time associated with the ball/goal shows the correct and actual time of the goal, but who knows. Incidentally, the same applies with cards (yellow/red etc.)

The Betfair IT team are too busy changing the appearance/navigation of those parts that are working well in order to downgrade the system.

Back in the early days of BF in Oz, I reported several bugs in detail (I did this for a living for many years). Never even got a response. Never mind a thank you. Bugs are a major reason people stop using websites. Ignoring customers who are trying to help you improve your product is seriously bad business.
There are worse bugs, unless they've fixed it there's one where your live liabilities only update if certain tab or tabs are open on the right, so if you happen to be looking at the "wrong" tab then it's displaying old and possibly very wrong profit/liability calculations on the markets its pretending to update..

Just detailing one that sticks out like a sore thumb, and should be one of the easier ones to fix.
Its an add-on that most people probably don't even look at, or more importantly let it influence their betting. But Betfair are using it to compete with similar features that are advertised on other sites. Perhaps they just do it better.
Sometimes doing the easy cosmetic stuff appeases more people than the difficult / worse stuff.

Hard to know where to begin on the topic of betfair bugs. I'd imagine that most casual visitors look at Cash Out. So why is it that when I navigate from one race to another, the cash-out value from the previous race I was looking at is displayed at the top?
...Bet at Matchbook it's 100 times better and cheaper.
