Took advice from a well know betting dispute guy on here, emailed them explaining how the slip is a contract and I'd be taking legal action.

They paid me at the proper price, reiterating that Ladbrokes prices are subject to change, and that this was a discretionary gesture of goodwill.

aye  prices subject to change after the bet wins! they are the lowest of the low and have to laugh  at them describing it as a goodwill gesture.glad you paid out!! just makes you wonder how many people they rob on a daily basis and get away with it tho???

pepsiplus, my post of 30th Sept related to the post immediately preceding it. I gave my opinion on your case on 22nd Sept.

Well done on pursuing your valid case for payment. I expect that Lads statement that their payment to you was "a dicsretionary gesture of goodwill" was legalistic caution, on their part, to avoid setting a precedent for actions by other punters faced with a similar situation.
