Does anyone know where I can find out stats on odds on favourites winners. Is it possible to back them and chase the  losses with subsequent odds on winners, or will I have such a bad long run of O-O-F losing that I or betfair! will run out of money! I suspect I know what the response will be!

Can't leave it alone Stu!!

The stats show that odds on favs do not offer the value that their starting price suggests.

Youre actually better off laying them.

Except for a few exceptions where the price is 1.2 or less.  But they dont come along very often.

Oh, and for the record, DO NOT CHASE YOUR LOSSES.   cos it cant be done by chasing alone, you need a plan.

Thanks Lex, yer I know, as I have been told numerous times, but I don't have a plan!!

If you create or research an actually reasonable plan (laying or backing or whatever) then investing on here can be an ok bet - but that's far easier said than done.

It's funny though - in reality no-one on here should be discouraging anyone from playing on BF considering the amount of moaning about liquidity on the markets!

Stu........Are you moaning about the people moaning?Crazy
Report stu • September 2, 2014 4:38 PM BST
Not really, just pointing out that if there's moans about liquidity then we shouldn't discourage anyone playing the markets?

Every favourite should be judged on it's merits,
whether be odds on or odd against.
