Not quite following:
- I might be misunderstanding but to 'cancel' is instantaneous More importantly, there are reasons to leave up lays while having backs 'sweep downwards' on the market. Hard to explain but it is a technic of multiple positions. People also program bots to do moves that are repetitive and mechanical and allows you to place multiple positions (say a lay and a back), fire another back THEN cancel the initial back. Again, there is a reason for this. Suggest you capture on video and post. |

Either way, extremely sophisticated mega-syndicates are not good for the rest of us, in my opinion. Im not even a tennis trader but it concerns me if they move in to other sports.
Betfair's supposed to be pers-on-to-person not naïve MOP against uber-syndicate. |

I'm convinced I saw money hit a market in football last night less than the bet delay after the start of a match. And it wasn't a keep bet.

Nice article.
I find it hard to believe a simple "change of heart" now means they dont do the tennis betting. More likely been outsourced to "themselves" protect "themselves". |

he could be placing his back bets before cancelling the other bets hence it only appearing to be 2 sec difference

1.01 they didn't stop. The worst part is they take a million plus out of the system but presumably make f-all after expenses, pc, staff costs etc.

This does not prove anyone has a 2 second delay? if you know you are seeing the action ahead of everyone else you would be foolish to take your odds down too soon as your just warning the people with slower pictures which way the odds are going to move. instead of looking like they have a 2 second delay I would have thought it should look like they have no delay.
