smithy91 - How can they verify your age before you open an account or make a deposit? it's the only way they can do it
Bookies can have their licence taken away if you bet aged under 18 so it's up to them to do the checks before you place any bet not after you want to withdraw winnings.

Yes darlo bantam. Some of them try to make it hard work to withdraw so in the end they want you to put it all back on and lose it all!
This is the formula.
Easy to deposit. Hard to get out not to keep your money. They have it. But so you will bet and eventually lose.
In general, no company can run credit checks if they do not offer you credit (ie. banks, stores, etc, do).
It should not be in their t and c's.
Either way, this is highly illegal if it is the case.

Well after you've put in all your personal details and bank card surely that should be enough to confirm that you are older than 18! Even if someone did try and get away with it at say 16 or 17 they wouldn't get past the system anyway I tried when I was 17 and got blocked before I even got onto the markets. Not to mention if anyone did get through aged 18 or younger they wouldn't have a clue how to bet anyway and would probably lose loads. The bookies don't care about that surely? They never bother when underage college students go in blitzing all their cash on roulette! I openedup a load of accounts recently with my mate and it just turned into an absolute episode trying to withdraw the money.
