"Reduced commission on Asian handicap markets was reduced to 0.75% in the summer as part of a short-term trial. The trial was so successful that now you will be able to get this special reduced rate until the end of the football season (May 24). Take advantage of this great offer now on any sport you like."
What does that mean, "any sport you like"? What other sports besides football have Asian Handicaps?
(This is a great offer, by the way. I'm surprised PC payers haven't made more use of it, given that it drastically reduces the effective rate of PC, down to less than 3.5% in some cases)
yes, innings runs is an Asian Handicap in the way the market is set up on Betfair. But that doesn't seem to be the criteria for inclusion in the deal. The "Asian Handicap -0.5" etc markets on Premier League matches ARE included in the deal, but they aren't actually set up as Asian Handicap markets. They are regular odds markets, with cross-matching and all. They are also the best value (both for PC payers and non-PC payers), because you get Betfair Points and implied commission at your normal rate (eg 5%), but you only pay 0.75% commission after rebate. Betfair Points are particularly relevant right now while there is a Cash Race on. It is also possible to hedge perfectly between the three most favourable markets (Asian Handicap -0.5, Asian Handicap -1.0, and Asian Handicap -1.5).
