S Sport Delayed 7s,
BT Sport 6 sec.
Why 5 sec rule?
Its impossible to trade on it, position are always taken. Small players are not protected.
6 years from introduction of PC and its extremely hard to trade here(nothing is changing for better)
Not easy being exchange user, and exchange became like black spot on a*s.

Trade before kick off - easy money imo

Successful trading is based on analysis and anticipation rather than the moment.  It is the same as when I had success trading on the stockmarket.  Day-trading made it 'at the moment' and with thousands of people poised at their keyboards, the chase was always on, an IPO equivalent to a five furlong race on good to firm ground.

I had a rule with penny stocks that worked on the TSE.  Being a small canadian stock market, just from my newspaper, old skool, on the train, I could find stock gambles.  Simple rule, pre-internet/early internet - 35,000 shares on volume , 10% increase.  It varied slightly depending on price but that was my flag.  And, usually within five to seven days, it would rise and rise and I would trade out.

Football is about momentum and spotting it.  Yes, there can be a surprise, a moment unexpected, but it can be seen when watching.

As well, there is plenty of time when a free kick is coming up or a corner to decide whether to stay in or pull out.  Watch the big money disappear when one of these moments come up.

Losses are usually attributed to being overexposed rather than fastest finger.  It also comes down to not working more than one market.  This comes down to a mental grid on possible outcomes depending on the score.  It never hurts to take a small wager on a 30/1 correct score when trading.  That 3-1 might save your ass.

It is also a mindset of trading where you are gambling against 'time' rather than the result.  You're backing a player hoping he will win 2 of the next 3 games of tennis on serve to push the price in, the bonus being if he breaks his opponent.  In football, trading with anticipation that the team leading will control the ball for five minutes and hold their 1 goal lead.  But ultimately, a trader is no less of a gambler simply playing the result.  If anything, traders are bigger gamblers since they will expose more of their bank than they would do on any outcome bet.

But to rely on 'the moment', whether it is football, tennis, any in-play sport is not as profitable as understanding the sport you are trading and anticipating rather than following the 95% that trade for the moment.

To be part of the 5%, like poker, you have to be at the table a long time and choose your moments rather than all the hands.

One survivors view.
