I personally would like to see a change where you wouldn't lose your money if your player etc. didn't compete.

I understand that you can get much bigger odds, BUT the trouble is, it opens the doors for people with inside information.

What do you think???

It is what it is! You have to factor in all the variables before you have a bet. I believe if their was automatic no runner no bet, rule, then all it would do is to ensure the prices months before the event would be very similar to the 'on the day market'; if that was right why would you even bother to put bets on ante post?

Since posting this I've thought a lot about it. I can understand why you'd lose your stake, but it's the thought of betting on something that somebody somewhere knows isn't gonna happen.

I think I'd rather have lower odds and not lose anything but that's me. Like I say, I can definitely understand why it is like it is. I guess that's the gamble you take???
