cheers gin. i've thus far getting a twitter account and expanding the scope for my inane commentary! i tried the online chat and then said that while it was above their pay grade they would send an email to chase the helpdesk up. whether that helps or not i have no idea.
anyway i got a refund. the explanation is that they had failed to take account of bets on the grand slam market having been partially settled in earlier weeks (and almost all my profit had come from laying wales). now i have to wait a few days before i see whether they've fixed my overall figures properly.... |

On the offchance someone can be bothered to follow it up or the right person happens to read it, it would be really easy to split the portal into lifetime chargable winnings and lifetime non-chargable winnings and that would make it so much easier to get it right for them :P

Just checked mine Lat and you're right. My RU profits are included in this weeks calculations. Its only a small amount but I will try to call them a bit later.

this week's is wrong again. my gross p/l contains the commission paid on my rugby union winnings, but not the remainder of the winnings. that's 3 weeks out of 4 they've got mine wrong :D

I'm told the adjustments were done late so that the statement is wrong but the amount taken is correct. Numbers on the statement should be correct for next week.

Did anyone get an email to remind them that the PC exempt period for Rugby Union has now finished (since 1st June)?
I spent a fair while this morning trying to work out why the figures in the PC portal were different to what I thought they should be. It turned out that I had included Englands matches in New Zealand as being PC exempt - I had forgotten about the PC trial finishing. It may be that a reminder was sent out and I didn't get one as for some reason I hadn't received the original email about the trial beginning. |

Nope...no reminder here either. Poor from Betfair as I'd like to see it extended. Would like to hear some feedback on how it went.

To be fair, Betfair did originally say that the trial was until 1st June but you would think a quick email to say it had finished would be sent.
There are probably a few people like me who had forgotten and may continue betting on the rugby assuming it was PC free. Maybe I will start a new thread just to warn people. |
