Want to do the following
I give each horse in race odds. Some horses may have price determined by betfair mid-point odds with software adjusting my odds so that the probabilities add up to 1.
Give formula to calculate lay or back stake according to betfair odds and my odds.
Give formula to calculate what part of that stake to put up according to what's available on betfair and time to off and or market depth.
I have my own api programme but don't know if I have the strength or patience to rewrite it all again with the new api.

well that makes two of us, but i suspect you of being a southsider 
excellent, if ever you decide to follow up, there's no shortage of congenial venues for progress meetings (with refreshments) midway between you and my bit.
The fact you have to employ programmers or be one yourself to get a decent bet on with betfair is one of the reasons the liquidity (especially early) is dire. They don't want you to bet.
Geeks Rule ... we are your friends and come in peace, but will depart only when our work here is done. 
Hopefully you'll soon be supplying that missing early price liquidity once your new 'bots' are up and running feck. Or are you more upset others are getting to those wildly out of line prices before you or undercutting yours with better offers :)
