Always nice to start these challenges off in the right direction .... must admit I went in heavy on a couple of bets (namely the Tottenham game) ... but still a good day's profit. Will perhaps be more sensible during day 2 ....

TBH I actually prefer not to say (supply sector) ... but lets say it runs itself and hence I have too much time to hang out on BF ....

Just from what you say and the results to date on other threads, you can be very very good and then when you are very very bad it wipes out the good through OVERSTAKING/TIREDNESS etc etc.

I know you say it is just a bit of fun betting on here......but you are using sizeable sums of money and you don't seem to be "serious" enough to become a "winner" on here.

On this thread you have 10 x the bank at start as you had on some other threads......but still appear to be betting the same way. Fantastic start ....but from the OVERSTAKING on SPURS game....only one way this thread will go.....unless you focus harder on your approach to your "challenge".

I suspect you are well capable of achieving making sizeable sums on here.......if you change your approach.

The link below is worth listening to, though you probably know much of this already through being in business........nevertheless, your current approach falls far short compared to factors mentioned on link. "Commitment" , and other elements, are necessary for your challenge to move forward.

Some heavy betting .... and got up to over £6K (nice win on under 1.5 goals in the Norwich game) but then decided to go in large on under 3.5 goals in the Liverpool game ... only to go out for a nice long run and return to discover I am too late to green up .... then played some more including the TV NFL game on ITV to do some catching up .... still another day goes by ... and yes I am fully aware I am doing some "heavy hitting" bets (mainly because it is early in the challenege) ...

Much to be learned just from thinking about what you have posted . So easily could your bank have been wiped out.

No signs at all that you really are changing your approach.......so only one way this "challenge" can go.

Just saying you are  -  "Betting on anything and everything "- indicates a very "slack" approach what you are doing.

If you intended to go all green on LIVERPOOL game.....going out for a nice long run and forgetting about your large bet was very slap dash...and again indicates you are not "seriously" committed to the challenge. Must have been a lot of "fun" after loss on that bet.

Only expressing an opinion on your approach which shows no sign of change.

WD on being ahead.....but without altering your way of betting and approach to the challenge is doomed to failure........unless you get exceptional lucky run.........which you are currently on.

Everyone has a different way .... I cannot go down the route of betting on (say) one market using strict conditions and liabilities because I simply don't enjoy it.

Like I openly said .... gone in hard on some bets simply because it is the start of the challenge .... Most bets I do watch the sport in question but on this occasion I didn't watch much of the Liverpool game ... decided on a bet and chose to go for the run to anticipate greening up later on ... if you really must I missed out by literally 10sec in not greening up (turned on the radio, jumped on BF using phone and put in a green up bet as they scored the final goal) .... not much fun but felt the original bet was the right play.

I enjoy the challenge of taking on outcomes in many sports ..... this is irrespective of whether I fail in this challenge ....

Bit up and down in some of the horse racing ... but had a very nice win on under 2.5 goals ip on some footy game shown on BF Live Video .... cricket bet even went the right way.

You're doing really well Undern & I hope it continues .. but I was just wondering .. if you DO get to your £100,000 goal target .. how will you withdraw your winning's ?? I'm only saying pal because .. I've won a bit .. a few hundred (WOW !!) & when I tried to take it out .. it said I couldn't because I was withdrawing more to my card (I'd only put £40 in on my new card) than I'd deposited on it :-/ I've got the money in my account .. but it seems I can't bank it :-/ Anyway .. Challenge Update:

Didn't play too sensibly this morning and still finding it hard to stop lumping on some of the football but (most of the time) watch the game and look to green up ip. One scenario I do like is betting on no more goal(s) where there is a red card and home team is winning ... which came up in the El Nacional v Independiente game just finished. Good day on the horse racing .... and now up over the £8K mark. Will not be betting much tonight at all ... definitely nothing big

..... I like it. You will be pleased to know I have had a down-up-down and bit more down day today ....

Nearly took a very big hit .... layed ir a horse in the 2.40pm race which was recommended as a back to lay ... but when I saw the odds move out a bit before the off decided to lay it big time ir at various odds .... went down to 2.0 ir and here is me thinking I might have messed up big time .... might just back off a little bit

I guess it all came down to that earlier race where I tried to trade ir the very heavy fav (1.5) .... went to 4.0 ir but I had 4.8 waiting so missed out a nice sum .... or was it that footy game this morning where they were 3-0 and here was me thinking there would be more goals in the second half .... FT 3-0 and so down a lot .... back to the concentrating

Definitely struggling between playing sensibly and playing lets just say without fear .... tricky day so glad I am heading out a bit later ....

Bloody football ... nice lay only to go out for a bit come back and instead of 2-1 it is 2-3 and my bloody bet lost ..... also thank-god for Codebreaker in the 4.30pm horse decided to have an off day .... bit too big a lay ....

Boy am I a lucky **** .... got back home and with a bank standing around £7.58K decided to put a bit over £1K on one more goal in the Wigan game (around the 55min I think with odds around 1.55 ish) .... and here was me watching NCIS (turning over to check the score occasionally) thinking I will end up with a closing balance of £6.5K ...  but a miracle happened with Wigan scoring one more in extra time .... will update shortly.

Yep definitely a memorable day .... some wild bets although there were some sensible ones as well .... better start to bet a bit more sensibly.

Maybe a good idea to break your challenges down. Instead of trying 3k to 100k in one go maybe do a 3k to 6k challenge 1. 6k to 10k then take your original 3k back so you're playing with profits. A series of small challenges before you know it you're little acorn is a blossoming tree or it's back to the link above ^^^^^^

Mmmm might have to finish this challenge as a big loss .... and start another one ....

Rather than start "another one".............why not jot down why loss arose.......and review what you can do to change what you are doing....

Some (well okay I) will be pleased to know that I am still around betting away .... simply to try and get in a better position in this challenge to continue .... lets just say I am having a fun time .... although earlier today lost (after winning some nice bets) around £1.8K in a single race (don't ask) but have finally clawed that back ... so betting a bit easier again. Actually it was a bit like yesterday ... did nicely and then lost most of the profits on some USA racing I shouldn't have bothered with .... got to cut out this over the top bets.

Will update one of these days .... and will break it down and post up all the bets per day (I will cut the report off at midnight each date) so it keeps within the spirit of the challenge ....

Also one thing ... especially with the horse racing is to stick with the specific tactics I use and not bend the rules or go outside of these simply to bet ..... and staying away from the tennis markets would be also helpful ... (I think that what also ruined some nice profits yesterday when I lumped a £1K on a female tennis player who decided to throw in the towel in the third set ... ) ...

These types of things are always interesting (in theory) .... I suggest you slightly alter it by "banking" half your winnings for each bet ... might take longer but at least if you fail big time you still have banked something ...[/i]

jamesdean ... I do do exactly that ... the OP was doing an all in challenge (365 bets at long odds in the hope to win big big big big money) ..... whenever I have done all in challenges I have (nearly always) banked a portion as I go along ....

Stupid greyhound racing ... anyway will do an all-in mini challenge in keeping with JamesDean ... reposting of my suggestion to someone else.

After many ups and downs trying to claw my back into a position to continue with the challenge .... apart from doing probably another £7K (hate to look ) on top of the original £3K finally got done in on Nadal losing in the semi-final just finished ... not to mention the Aussie football earlier on .... time has come to officially close this challenge off as a complete failure .... .... long live the challenges .... will start another shortly ....
