I do planning on betting less (especially in the horse racing) and will look to stay away from the USA horse racing ....

Have had a very nice day without doing any Kamikazee betting .... need to go out soon for a while but will be back to update perhaps later tonight.

Back in ... and then out again soon. Love it when I am able to get a nice trade on a heavy fav like Ashdan in the 7.30pm race .... sweet as

I am .... but I am not getting too excited as it only was day 1 . I don't care if literally no one posts on these challenge threads Northbouy ..... all the best for your betting today/tonight whether in the world you are ....

It is amazing how things can go for you (like yesterday) and then suddenly turn around and go completely against you (like today) ..... perhaps time for the beach

It isn't amazing at all it is a completely normal outcome giving what you are doing. You win too much % wise by gambling then you lose too much % wise by doing the same thing.

Here was me thinking that I had a couple of "egdes" to my betting .... but yep it is bets I place outside of these (and at the wrong amounts) which do me in .... hopefully I can stick with these monthly challenges ....

Ok so you think you have a couple of "edges".

Well here is another wee bit of advice. Get yourself a decent staking plan and use them to take advantage to your "edges"

Undern, tis your own money mate and you are free to do with it what you want. But like a few sensible posters said, better staking and less bets would get you much further. Good luck with your latest challenge, my friend 

Recovered quite well today .... perhaps I should stay away from the Aussie markets .... slowly slowly I think I am becoming more controlled with staking and the desire to bet on anything and everything ....

One thing I do certainly know is that to be on here betting away .... you need to be focused and have the right mind-set.

It is all about getting the balance right of how many bets .... how much to accept in terms of making a profit or limiting losses versus my keeness to keep betting because I enjoy the challenge .....

Had a nice win (£100) in an Aussie race this morning .... do I play, play more protectively or simply stop for a while ..... tricky one and everyone has their own way of handling these things ...

Busy in general today with other things so back later .

Big big hits this morning .... sorry Mikenz I don't understand the question ...

well do you ever win , in short term long term or any term, you seem to be starting lots of challenges

I am doing monthly challenges .... last month I ended up winning a bit .... this month well I was winning (perhaps look up) but now losing

Overall I am losing but sometimes having fun

i lose too , join the club, i put 325 here about 3 weeks back , spent heaps of time betting on this and that, as it stands now im 18 dollars ahead , well as you say having fun but gee 18 bucks in three weeks, it aint easy aye.

be tough way to make a living, betting fulltime.

I make a living through my company .... I have fun and games on here (albeit too many snakes and ladders as someone else put it) .....

do you bet on other sites....bookmakers?

Nope.

Note to self => I have looked back to understand (although changing it is another thing) how I have ended being in a losing position for this monthly challenge bearing in mind I made a nice start ....

1. Played and lost on something late in the day that I shouldn't have.
2. Went out thinking I shouldn't have done it but though last BOT selection will do the business only to find out later that night it was withdrawn.
3. Thought I'd make it up by betting on a football bet to trade - ended up losing most of day's profit
4. Woke up early thinking I will bet on Aussie markets
5. Lost and lost some more and in turn frustrated that I didn't watch markets for certain signals I look for and be one loss went to 270's ir
6. Then tried to recover on some low odd lays which never came about wasting more money
7. Should simply let it go for the morning but feel compelled to put some back ....

.... interesting self-analysis ... although probably won't learn from it but you never know ...

Mmm ... now have seriously wrecked this monthly challenge. Wow what a whopping turn-around from the last couple of days ....

Just update it as it happens, don't get too emotional on ups and downs.
When you win you update immediately, and with a loss you sulk away.
This probably shows that you expect wins to keep coming after a good day thinking you've 'cracked it', but then get too angry at a loss.
Hence probably need to take wins and losses in your stride more - it's the longer term you need to focus on.

If you think about it, on your good days making £300 with 1k is outrageously big %ages and tells you that you are pushing it too much.

Can't remember which of your threads I lasted posted on, but nothing has changed, you are an adrenalin gambler who still refuses to apply basic principles to any of your challenges, hence the constant yoyo effect on your balance.

There must be some market you are better at than others, which is where you should be concentrating your time and effort but you'll not heed the advice because a gradual steady daily profit which is easily achievable for anyone with the right mindset, does not appeal to you, as it fails to raise your adrenalin to the level it needs to be for you to feel like you are enjoying it.

The real problem as you have freely admitted is that the money is superfluous to you, if your life depended on it, you'd soon change your ways, but as that is not the case, you will continue to have some big ups and then bigger downs.

Yep you are correct Cork Langer ... I treat it too much like a game.

Adrenalin gambler, now thats probably in all honesty what a lot of us here online could probably be called, its a fact that online sites can drag us in, in my btting i have big swings, up today down tommorow but as is always when you swing low and run out of funds you just decide to give it one more go, just like undern does, starting again and again.
