No it's not just you, it's been like this since yesterday for me. Others are having the same problem. It's been mentioned in the Site feedback forum but no response from Betfair. Maybe there telling us to quit.

If Tesco's tills broke and they couldn't be bothered fixing it you'd think they'd gone MENTAL, as they'd be fixing it with top priority with bells on that's what.
At BF however, where deposit is in effect the till that funds their business, it's apparently perfectly normal to just ignore the problem? *shakes head*

If it's a server error then surely they'd have system in place for someone to be alerted that problems are occuring their side??
Never mind that surely they'll have received calls and emails given the # of people on the forum complaining who will be a small fraction of the total suffering the issue?
I just can NOT get my head round the way this company is run these days!

Very worrying times. The responsible developers have clearly gone on leave / away for the weekend, and are unwilling to come back.
You can imagine the phone call now
Director: "Our deposit system is down, get back to help" Developer: "I wanred you about this potential issue months ago, but you ignored me." Director: "But we can't take any money!" Developer: "You shouldn't have f*cking sacked everyone then." Click.

They said it was a known issue and the problem was at their end, and the techincal dept was looking into it.
Strange how most people seem unaffected?

I only use my (Natwest) bank visa debit card which I would have assumed (maybe wrongly) is the most common means of depositing, certainly for anyone in the UK.

I would've thought they'd have lots of different suppliers for different types of cards and do all that stuff themselves, they'd use a 3rd party service from e.g. a bank to do card payment so .. maybe, benefit of the doubt, it's a 3rd party to blame and out of BF's hands. Maybe
Is it at the "pay using these details" stage it goes pete tong?

No it's not at the "pay using these details" stage it goes wrong. When you press the deposit button at the top of the page by yhe login or In "my account" you do not go the deposit page but a to a page which says
Internal error
An internal server error prevented the page you requested from loading correctly. Please try loading the page again after some time.
hope that helps
