Bit hit and miss ...played on later last night coming up with some losses (like in the tennis) but this morning nicely picked up some wins laying very heavy favourites (especially) in the Aussie racing. It is funny with the Aussie betting ... sometimes I and busy so can't play while sometimes I can sit there and all works nicely while other times not .... I guess being focussed is a key thing. Must admit having got back into a profitable position with this challenge .... feeling quite good about my betting ... but these can turn around so quickly so just trying to play it without much thought on trying to reach a particular figure by a particular time. I basically stuffed this challenge up (and more) completely yesterday .... would have got back on track if France had won in the RU
 .... ..... so aside to the challenge I have just been playing less and doing some biggish bets using a £1K bank ..... just had my biggest win bet for a long time .... won around £1.4K on a very nice lay of Spirit of Shankly (BFSP 1.22) in the horse race just gone .... and yes I greened up . Initial lay was to win £3K .... |

In truth ... I wrecked this challenge yesterday (poor start in the Aussie racing did me no favours) and in turn lost more than what the challenge bank actually had left in it .... hits in the Everton game (over 3.5 goals) didn't help. So I simply kept playing (played less but with some heavier bets) .... nice win on Wales in the RU but lost out big time in the Ireland match (which like I already mentioned would have got me back in the game so to speak) ..... TBH I have no idead how much I was down yesterday but played a bit late last night and also had some nice wins one being the large lay of a heavy horse fav and the win in the Italy H/Cap markets ..... even did a lay of MU when 2-2 in the FA cup match late on .... After the last update played later on some USA racing and paid a heavy price .... so spent most of yesterday clawing it back with some interesting bets. thought I was back on track only for a large bet on the England Women's footy came unstuck when they scored twice in a couple of minutes. Rest of horse racing went well while I even won on the tennis  Nice to see I am still in Reged's Laying Comp .... seriously need to do less bets and be far more selective ... a lot of effort yesterday for literally no profit (then again at least it wasn't a losing day). After the last update played later on some USA racing and paid a heavy price .... so spent most of yesterday clawing it back with some interesting bets. thought I was back on track only for a large bet on the England Women's footy came unstuck when they scored twice in a couple of minutes. Rest of horse racing went well while I even won on the tennis Nice to see I am still in Reged's Laying Comp .... seriously need to do less bets and be far more selective ... a lot of effort yesterday for literally no profit (then again at least it wasn't a losing day). i agree, very few people would follow underns cavalier approach to betting, but then very few people on here have his money so live and let live and its quite simple, if the thread annoys you then dont read it then post on it...its hardly rocket science ffs

SWOM - I am well off but I assure you there a lot more people on BF with more money than me. What "cavalier" approach .... more a "diversified" approach good luck with your betting both. Lost on Fed last night in the tennis (stakes reasonably sensibly) but won some on the Aussie football (Soccer) and a couple of horse races ..... just need to control what I bet on in terms of the F1 and Rugby |
