Hi,
I am on the lookout for an online tool/calculator that allows me to quickly find out what stakes are required to result in an identical liability for a number of different lays in the same market. For example, I may wish to lay three horses in the one race and I want my lay stakes to result in a total liability of £1,000 for each horse. Any help would be appreciated.

Anyone?

Also, as a layer, when calculating your turnover for your own records, should you use your stake or your liability?

A Dutching calculator?

It may not be what you want, but Gruss software can work out dutched lays for you at current market prices.

Loads of calculators here - I presume you need the multilay one.

Thanks guys. The arbcruncher calculator, like most such calculators, will give me the stakes for an even liability, but not for a consolidated liability that takes into account the stakes from multiple lays. For example, I can ask it to give me the staking for two 4/1 shots at a liability of 1k. What it gives me is 250 each, whereas what I want it to give me is 333.33 each, which results in a liability of 1k on each outcome. Any other ideas?

Gruss will do it for total liability or for the profit you are looking to make.

download gruss .

when you start it , click on options , preferences , grid interface , then check the " dutch " box in display columns . then click the " dutch betting " tab in gruss , set liability and tick the horses you want in the little box next to there names

i don't use dutching , but there is some kind of warning when lay dutching

good luck
