logged into my account just now to see my balance after a winning bet on Levante, and there is no sign of the bet anywhere
called them up and basically they said it's not there and nothing they can do
I placed it yesterday evening and wrote down the price after I had placed it with a mark next to it which I always do after a bet has been matched
is there anything I can do about this?

Are you sure it was matched? Check your 'lapsed' bets on the statement etc.
