I see they have changed the account summary display. The new account summary page is much harder to understand, doesnt show points and discount rate, and makes my eyes hurt with horrible colours.
With the old one you could tell exactly what balances you had, and exposure within 1 second of looking at it, now its horrible
river me - there's a feedback link on the new page. if enough people use it maybe we can get the points and discount rate back.
agree that it's a terrible change.

is this the new generation of college leavers coming up with these 'ideas' ? as for the designs , it's like something you'd see on Ceebeebies

Ha Ha. Just looked at it after seeing your post. They couldn't have designed that any worse. Is it April 1st today and they will remove it tomorrow surely?

"Betfair have done it again! Not only have Betfair created a brand new website, but they have merged elements from the old design and the new design, creating something not quite as good either. Cheers Betfair!"

I don't mind the branding part of it. if they want to go all blue and orange, fine. I even think that looks quite nice. makes me think of a chocolate orange, and who doesn't like them?
it's just, what benefit is there from removing key information from the homepage? and to make matters worse, leaving empty spaces where it would naturally be and was before?
it just speaks to an obsession with superficialities combined with a total lack of understanding of the way people actually use the exchange.

BCM2: all it needs is for them to put back the points balance and discount rate. it's so obvious. I can't understand why someone decided to remove them and leave a blank space there; and after a month I also can't understand why they haven't been put back.
please pass that on.

It's the same eyewatering colours as Beta, soon to go exclusive, innit?
For me it's developed a bug where it doesn't know the time, so can't tell me my p&l for the last day. Also agree about the absence of the comm. points.
A political party can tell everyone they're great, have only 5% believe it, inc. a tiny fraction of swing voters, and still win the election. A business cannot keep praising their products if the view of even a sizeable minority of loyal customers is that they're rank. To stay alive, the business must understand the view of those customers who do not think like its executives and do something to cater to them.

It is built into life that things usually change for the worse (from an individual perspective). For example there are many coffee shops to choose from in Brighton but I had a few favorites. Out of the many possibilities they fit what I like the best. It is therefore very likely if one were to change it would more towards being like one of the many I don't like so much. This phenomem holds when an individual has plenty of choice and is less able to explain any getting worse of betfair.
