I don't see a connection between December 2012 and any of
the previous Decembers, except that it's usually cold
and Christmas occurs.

BTW Roadrunner, when did ManU lose 3 league games or more before
December and win the P/League? Correct, they never have. Some stats are
meaningless, but can be used for backfitting, exactly what you are doing,
including your naming them as your nap after the event.(IMO)
