Anybody here betting from New Zealand?

I registered in UK but moved to NZ last year and continued to use betfair account in pounds and deposits/withdrawal back to uk bank account.
The card is about to expire and my preference would be to register a NZ card and bet in dollars.  My (limited) research suggests the closest currency I could use is AUS$.

Anybody with any practical advice?  I would prefer to avoid card and currency charges if possible.
