okay mate will do the main problem for me is I play football Saturday's and Sundays  so trying to work round that :)

why are these dates always set for a Saturday ?

I think I remember Magician's argument on the equivalent thread last year.

If your average take on a Saturday is very high, then you must be able to afford to miss one, having amassed so much cash. If it's not, then you're not missing much by not trading that day.

I am sure that the insights that you will gain by talking to fellow pros will far outweigh the lost revenue for that day.

Will there be a Betfair 'flash crash' on the Saturday, as the suddenly unmonitored bots go crazy and disrupt the betting markets?

I guess that's a fair point on paper Contrarian if it were just about finances ,it's just that Saturday is an irritating day on so many levels (i have so much free time during the week as well ).

Saturday  = Congestion,getting a seat ,kids,loud families ,adult men wearing replica football tops   - all the things that would make  Saturday anywhere quite an ordeal  .

Anyway,that's just selfish thinking from me  and i wish you all a great day .

Thanks to Magician for making this happen every year. Have to say the food this year was outstanding. Company was excellent (as always), I'm already looking forward to next year, hopefully the absent regulars will be back on-board. I went to haydock fot betfair chase and missed the train i intended to catch so i decided iwas too late.
sorry i didn't make it. i'm sure it was great fun as always.

Thanks for another great event Magician, the food and arrangements were superb, the service was great (except for the sour-faced staff on the casino tables which was no bad thing as it stopped me losing a shed-load) and no nasty Russian bouncers. And the company was fantastic, what a great bunch of people.
But it's not fair that you paid for all of us and next year we'll make sure some others share the burden.
I tried unsuccessfully to find a taxi but then went to Trafalgar Square and found a night bus that whisked me home in next to no time.

greatest night ever thanks to madge. got to meet two great men that i have idolised for years; the vis and jd moonshine. had no idea they were a pair of screamers though. bugger me.
