Hi,
I’ve just accessed betfair from my ipad for the first time. I didn’t use the app (I tried but it keeps collapsing to the desktop), but accessed betfair via google search and it’s taken me to a betfair site clearly designed for ipads (perhaps mobiles too). Looks fairly good. The problem is that the odds don’t change as the match progresses! That is to say it’s not refreshing the prices? Is this a bug? A problem with my ipad? Or what?
Also I was in the correct score market of a football match, and there doesn’t seem to be any way of accessing the other markets in the match except by pressing the back button. Am I missing something here??

No this is hopeless. It doesn't even refresh when I press the refresh icon!! And what's this Take a sum of money thing? Bet that doesn't offer good value!
I don't seem to be able to get the normal site on the ipad!!
I guess none of you have ever accessed betfair from a smartphone. Let's see if Betfair responds then!
Working after I cleared my history and cache. Still not working on this other exchange though.
You'll find a tiny link at the bottom of the page that saying "full site".

Not working again. Betfair have now responded and say the release of iOS 6 is causing problems and they are working on a fix.
Can't see any links to full site anywhere. I'm in a correct score market (football) and bottom of page it has soccer followed by the name of match. But pressing either of them doesn't take you to the full site.

I get routed to touch.betfair.com, from here before logging in or anything there is a link to "full site" at the bottom of the page. You might need to close safari and restart it first.
Yeah I told them about this problem with IOS6 last week.
Now im using 'betfair for iphone which works ok BUT you cant see any history or settled bets!!!
They really are becoming a pathetic outfit - they have take their eye off the ball completely.
I hope this new guy from PP sorts it out quickly!!

I use the Ipad app with no problems,

I also use the iPad app withou problem. I get around the SP issue by opening the mobile racing site (which is HTML and works 100% on the 'pad) in Safari:

update your ipad to the latest operating system ios6 then see what happens
Why would I want to do that? My first-gen iPad works just fine on the current OS and all I've heard about iOS 6 are horror stories about mapping.
That being said, does the iOS 6 'upgrade' break the mobile racecard site? I can understand the main (new or old) BF sites having issues with a new browser version because of the amount they do in javascript, but the timeform mobile app is pure HTML 5 - works on every device I have (PC, Symbian ^3 phone, iPad etc).

Has anyone else encountered problems getting to betfair with Safary from today or yesterday? As from today or yesterday I cant open betfair with safari anymore....it starts to load the page and then closes safari on my ipad as if it had encountered an error or sth. Has betfair changed anything on their webpage during last couple of days?
New version of the site (brighter tighter smaller price buttons, new branding) came out a couple of days ago.
