A few years ago, I created a thread under a previous forum name, Carson Yeung. It ran for a few months with a bit of success before I lost my way and let it slide. Anyone who knows midlands football will understand the need for a change in forum name, as Carson is under house arrest in Hong Kong!

Anyway, going to have another bash at this. I am going to be having a go on a couple of different fronts, a long term attempt ( risk 1% of bank), and then a "get rich quick scheme", using £1000 and looking to lay 12 teams around the 5 mark on a roll up basis.

No real rules as to what lays I chose, just trying to use what I feel is my knowledge of the beautiful game!

Was going to start this last night, but didn't have chance to post. Actually got away with one last night as had 3 lays, Derby, Dortmund & Montpellier, so Mad Mario got me out of jail there.

All in all, basically posting this as somewhere to write down my thoughts. Any feedback welcome.

good luck but you arnt goin all in on every lay are you?

Sweetchild, I have a large bank that is being managed at 1% liability per lay, then having a second go ( same lays) with a liabitly of £1k, if I manage 12 in a row ( and I know that is a very BIG if) then I would start this process again. Think I did manage 16 in a row at one point in the past.

Are you letting them ride the full game or trading out at any point?

Hello anyone looking in. 666, generally will let them ride, but no hard and fast rule here, on Tuesday I had laid Celtic, but at 2-1 Spartak I decided to back Celtic back to cover at odds of around 31 I think, got lucky!

Don't really want to be aftertiming, but a lot of the time I am only on the internet when at work & then put bets on via mobile later on.

Yesterday, had 3 lays, singles lays on Levante, Pana & Maritimo. Also had an initial £600 liability on a double lay of Levante & Pana, then £750 liability on Maribor ( Bottled doing the £1k). So the roll up pot stands at £900 now.

Wishing I had started by roll up on Weds with a £1k, would be at £3.3k by now!
Mind due, if Mad Mario hadn't held his nerve, would have been starting again from zero.

All in all, I know there is a lot of luck involved when going all in, couldn't belive Hannover yesterday, 10mins in & 1 down & down to 10 men, thought my get rich quick was get poor very very quick!

I know not posting selections before hand is not ideal for anyone looking in, but a lot of what I am doing here is for my refernce anyway.

Good Luck to anyone taking on the Gambling God's today!

When I lay teams then I generally (not always) get my stake back if they go a goal down.

There was a lot of action - and goals, in last nights games. I avoided them myself as I couldn't decide on a good lay.

I wish you the best of luck in your two methods - 12 teams on the bounce is no easy run. It will be nice to see you do it though

Many thanks 666, you are right it will be difficult. I was wary about Europa League, It can be difficult to find out who is taking it seriously. I tried to stick to teams last night who I thought would be trying and putting out decent sides. On the roll up basis, its a case of not rushing and trying to get it all done this weekend.
