Just for absolute clarity .... the challenge did start this morning (9am to be precise) .... which I have had the following bets. One thing I will be trying to remember is to take any profit rather than try and go after too much profit ... oh and bloody try and stay away from the tennis betting.

I have done quite a few challenges in my times but the most recent one was where I did 5 x £250 start challenges where the first got to £2K and the last 4 eventually sank to £0 ....

Well some of the back to lay bets didn't work out quite the way I had anticipated ... which wasted some money while just finished watching JJ in the tennis ... for which I said I would try and not bet on let alone go in too hard .... when will I learn.

No amount of money is worth the agony of watching a JJ match..

Nicely ahead at the moment though Undern. Wd.

Challenge Summary:
Greyhound bot was hit hard ... the poor odds are the reason behind it doing so poorly with one loss coming from a lay at 9's which was around 3' in the bookies. Need to re-think.

Naturally I joined in to do my utmost in wrecking the challenge ... only to lump on a lay of a heavy fav in the greyhound (went off around 1.68 and I was on around 1.8's ... only to see it crash mid-race and I walk away feeling extremely lucky. Someone mentioned that today 28 favs (bookie ones) in a row at a track lost ... better walk away to fight another day ... although busy over the next few days so won't play as much.

Henok - in short the answer is no. In terms of expanding on the answer - well I could spend 20mins of my time writing a nice long reply but I won't.

If you have taken careful notice of my challenge threads you would have appreciated the following:

I run a very nice business which principally runs itself.

My business pays me very very nicely (mainly in Dividends) - I gave the answer out on the Anyone Fancy a Lay thread a little while back.

I actually treat my time on here a bit like 'playing a game' or perhaps another way of expressing it as a 'challenge' or even perhaps a game of 'chess'.

I actually enjoy my time on BF (but have over time been spending less time on here to enjoy other things)

In terms of what I bet on and how much - in theory I nice edge, controlled staking etc is the way forward but I actually enjoy (not all the time though) betting on many different sports, for different amounts (although I do have some staking control) and for different reasons ... which to be perfectly blunt is with my money not yours or anyone elses


While this main not align with your views of what I should 'be like' the reality this is what I am like .... please respect that.

Challenge Summary:

Gee what a nice "easy" day where things simply fell into place and literally very few losing bets (unlike yesterday). Therefore didn't feel the need to go in too heavy or do too much. Busy with work and other things so missed a lot of today's racing. If only all days were as easy as this one was.

Even my bet on unders in the Chelsea match came through despite me thinking the worst when 2-0 at HT. Also I must admit my bet on the tennis last night was full of trading (like the true tennis trading amateur I am) ...

Nice triple lay in that race ....

Geez ... I was on the trigger of a big bet on over 0.5 goals in the AC Milan game ip and then suspend ... damn.

I did a second trigger ... but AC Milan couldn't do the business and with a few lumpy bets now have ended down around £1.3K for the day ... not good. Tired so will update tomorrow morning when I get the chance ...

Challenge Summary:

Mmm now it all started when a horse I layed went from inside the odds range I like to use to outside ... and duely ended up winning ... but then as I posted earlier pulled the trigger in a football match when I shouldn't have and suffered the consequences .... you can almost win too much too quickly per day and get in a false-position of what bets you think you can make versus what you should be making.

Mmmm ... normally I post up the individual betting summaries (see previous days) however the "my account" where my betting p&l details looks like it has had a BF style makeover and basically whenever I copy and paste all the information instead of showing horizontally it shows vertically (seriously ) ... it works fine when the "my account" is displaying as lets just say in the normal (perhaps to BF old) style ...

If anyone has a solution then please let me know !! Might try and copy it to a word document first ...

MadDogs - I am definitely not a gambling addict. Like I have explained before I actually treat my time on Betfair a bit like a 'game' or better description a 'challenge' which I enjoy.

I have some nice things in life including a business which effectively runs itself and provides me with a very decent income.

I am far from perfect in terms of my betting but hey like I keep saying it is my money not anyone elses .... and I am sure many on here are more than happy knowing I hand out money ...

So perhaps you should focus on your own betting - leaving me to get on and enjoy my time (well some of it) on Betfair. Saying that on a personal note been on a bit of a downer this past week so I may be a bit grumpy for the next couple of weeks so don't wind me up please.
