i have put together a spreadsheet together, with 5.5 years worth of results so far ive blended all useful colunms from bfsp and bf market data downloads, and blended them in with the uk racing results downloadable CSVs, i over-layed them and then filled in any missing data, before actually merging them, in otherwords all 550 thousand rows were the same on all 3 spreadsheets, before joining them end to end, and deleting the double columns of time date etc, now i have a near complete record of every horse that has run in the uk in the lat 5 years, and all race times hotlinked to vid replays.
now i am proficient in excel, but clueless with access mysql etc.
he deal my sheet contains over 100 columns in sections HORSE DETAILS TRAINER DETAILS RACE/COURSE DETAILS TRACK DETAILS MARKET DETAIL IN-RUNNING DETAILS
its a master-piece truly, i prefer to use auto-filters and auto sum columns to do my research with, much much quicker than the likes of masseys.
Why have i posted, well i need someone to turn a CAB file i can open in access, into 2 separate CSV files, or import it to 2 excel workbooks the results database goes back to 1994.
i will give a copy of the finished product to anyone willing to extract all the columns of data i require, about 60 prebetfair.

i am about 2k hours into this project, but ive wasted alot of them to be honest, the bf data is a nightmare really from even the simplest thing like race time, ive used the racing post course and distance standard times, and the the bf actual of time, then devided the first time price traded column into 10 single row entries at 10 percent race time intervals, then conditionally formatted the cells containing a first time traded price, either green for lower than bfsp or red for higher, letting me see in an instant the horses running pattern by betting patterns rather the race reports, so filter out a race card, and you have all the entrants running styles in a glance by red or green patterns, it a masterpiece, but i want to back date to 94, for research stats etc.
