thats pretty tough thanks to rain a big win becomes a big loss

it's offset Hhole - happens to me all the time with american sports hitting or missing the cut off by minutes

so lets say i win one week 10k and the next week i lose 10 k what would be the calculation? thank you for your help
Report curlywurly • June 11, 2012 12:25 PM BST
week 1 pay 6k
week 2 pay 0
if you won 10k week 3 you pay nothing

so it doesn matter that the loss doesn count for sunday right?
Report curlywurly • June 11, 2012 12:34 PM BST
not long term - but it would be annoying to start the week with a big loss, for me anyway

good luck

HHole,

It all depends on the settled date/time of that particular market. I think the critical time is 11pm on Sunday night. I've had football matches where one market has settled at 10.30pm Sunday, and another at 11.15pm Sunday: in this case, the first market is lumped in with one week's P/L, and the second with the following week.

Of course, if you're going to carry on being profitable long-term, then it makes no difference ultimately whether you pay the PC this week, or whether you dodge it this week and have to pay further down the line. Eventually you will have to pay BF 60% of your gross profit either way.

since the new super pc was introduced i hadn had a losing week so this week will be the first. i will never have to pay more than 60% long term right? so if iam sure the next week i will make plus and the week after that plus and on and on. it could be that i don have to pay pc the next weeks right?

one more example please:

1.lets say last week 10k plus
2.this week 6k minus
3.the week after next week 3k plus
4.the week after that 1k plus
5.the week after that 2k plus

the first time i would have to pay pc again would be week 5 in my example is this right?

thank you so much for the help

HH

Your example might be flawed by your figures but my interpretation is this.

When you won £10k you paid pc and as such was up to date.
This week you lost £6k
The following weeks you won £3k+£1k+£2k = £6k so square again
pc would be due only on subsequent winnings over the £6k

correct HHole - you would pay nothing till week 5
Report curlywurly • June 11, 2012 12:58 PM BST
sorry after week 5 - week 6 you will have to pay
