sorry---just a win 4fold not e/w
e/w accum gives no value on place only |

All your doing is having a £2 win Yankee. A Yankee is just the name for those bets...

As far as value goes that's down to your selections. The bigger the multiples go, the less expected value you get.

Crows Eye is correct.Every time you add an element you further dilute any value there may have been in the first place.
If you really want to do 4 selections combined then may I suggest a combination patent. This way you have a weighted stake. 4 selections,28 bets comprising 3 stake units on each single,2 stake units per double and 1 stake for each treble.Depending on the size of the stake you could add a fractional stake unit e/w for an accumulator. |

if you find 4 VALUE BETS
BRILL - IF NOT DO NOT |

If your selections have +ev then you are compounding value.
Couple this with the treble or four times odds on a single winner and the lucky 15 can be a very shrewd way of combining four selections. |

but do an e/w acca too

Personally 98%+ of my betting stakes are on best price singles but on a saturday if I find a few good value bets I'll combine in a multiple bet but say I have 5 selections I'd do 5 x A fourfolds and 1 x 2A acc.
But I guess it all depends what your motivations are for doing multiples. Mine is that one day I'll hit one and really burn the bookies and say if I'd had 3 winners on a Sat out of 5 the singles are gonna make my day good enough without me worrying about doubles, treble etc. Ultimately any bet is only value if your expected return on each selection is positive. So the decision on whether you should do multiples or not should be based more on whether you have the ability to pick positive expectation selections. |

thx for replys
the combination patent bet interests me do you write it out as 4xsingle=£3 6xdouble=£2 4xtreble=£1 1xaccum=£1 same as a lucky 15 but your staking is stacked more for single/doubles? |
|

If you leave the accumulator out you score over a Lucky 15 when you have zero winners, you are slightly worse off when you have one winner, much better off when there are two winners and,of course, worse off when there are three or four winners.
But ask yourself how often do you get three from four or all four. Staking instructions are £1 win Combination Patent,Total Stake £28. .............................................................................. Remember there is no value in any of the multiple bets, they are great fun but you give the bookmaker even more of an edge when you do them, and he does not need any help! |

I am comparing it against a 2point L15,ie 28/30.
Hence 4 losers =2points less lost. |
