Bets refused, the real victims

Always plenty of talk on here about being closed down in shops and online/phone but the ones I really feel sorry for are the jobsworths who operate the shops. You do get a few who feel uncomfortable with what they are being asked to do and transmit a kind of 'best of luck pal but I am sorry I have to do this' attitude, but a great many of them really do think that this great company that they work for really is going to reward them for implementing their disgraceful practices. They defend the companies pot as if it was their own unaware seemingly that once the unsocial hours, the crappy conditions, the real threat of violence has all gone they will be left with poxy pension if a pension at all. I popped in a shop the other day to cash a bet and one manager was venemous because I had got it one via an unknowing cashier (yes all I did was place a bet at offered odds). She even noticed I had a very short hair cut since my last visit and accused me of crew cutting my hair in order to go unnoticed 'the hair cut is not fooling any one she vexed'. Sad very sad!
