OK have decided to post my trading results here.
Why?
Previously had very sucessfull trading accounts under various usernames (an also some terrible experiments!).
I think I have now got the discipline and balance between pure gambling and trading correct. My last effort I turned £100 into £8000 before quiting (Liquidity starts becoming a problem at this point for me).
In order to prove myself that I can do this consistantly I am going to attempt to post my results as I go, purely for my own benefit, self satisfaction and discipline. I am very thick skinned and fully expect to get slagged etc - will try my best not to rise to it.
Some before pointers to my methods:
1) Mainly trade to get out a profit before a game or race and will settle for a loss to protect my bank. Aim to make small profits with each trade and get out early if the market goes against me - this often means I miss out on potentially profitable trades but thats just my method
2) Do gamble also with a martingale (but modified) system to regain losses.
3) Tend to lay below 2 and back over 2 - have lost much previously on 'sure wins' and gained masses on outside chances - psychologically it is terrible to back 1.1 etc and lose but winning by laying such results feels great! Also feel that is where the value lies - the unexpected happens more often than the odds suggest.
4) Reserve the right to aftertime etc My time is very limited - cant spend all day on here and will sometime make decisions on the fly - this is purely for my own benefit and I make no apologies if I dont post here first.

Oh....and I nearly always trade out when a result goes my way. Too often caught out by a profitable gamble turning into an unprofitable one. Always take the money when you can.

OK first start backing draw in Roma Napoli and will lay off for a profit shortly. Currently at 2.56

Last bet tonight...backed 0-1 correct score for £20 maritimo v porto at 2.52 and again will lay off once odds have dropped to make £10

Anxious to build my early bank quickly so have backed a further £50 - average odds now at 2.07. Will lay off very shortly for a profit.

Set a lay off at 1.59 for £90 to give me £20 profit either way. Fingers crossed. Off to see a film...

So that came in. As you can see laying off as the unexpected often happens!. Like to withdraw every time I increase my bank by 10% therefore withdrew £10 and bank now has £123.15.
Next 10% increment target is £121 + £11 (to withdraw) = £132. Seems like I made some pretty rash decisions but I have to admit I often do this when the bank is so low to get things moving - even if I lost £50 I know I can quickly get this back. Once I start getting a larger bank I get a lot more cautiaus and start trading - trading is also a lot easier with a £200 + bank. |

OK final bet of night.
Another potentially low scoring Argentinian game especially seeing play so far. Back 0-0 for £20 and cover also with under 2.5 at 1.56. Will look to lay off as soon as I reach my bank target so need another £9 only. |

Laid off under 2.5 bet at 1.36 for £8.16 profit on unders only.

Laid off correct score 0-0 to cover my £20 to make a profit of £52.43. Will look to green up both bets to get profit whatever result.

Now greened up to lock in profits. Just over £6 on under 2.5 and just over £10 profit on Correct score market. Night all.

129.12 backed over 2.5 goals at 1.59 on Karlsruher SC U19 game. Will trade out after first goal. If no goals by half time will trade out to unders.

Traded out for £12.54 profit on overs. Took longer than I had hoped for first goal.

I have now laid 1-1 score in same game at 5.2 for just over £26 profit. Think there are a few more in this game yet!
