Just backed 0-1 score line in Belgrano - Tigre game and looking to trade out just before half time. I have backed £100 at 1.98.

I like trading football on argentinian games as generally they are low scoring and especially if there is an early goal you get very generous odds to trade.

Well back now stands at £313 after some sucessful horse trades and laying the dray tonight on Man City/ Man U game.
So far withdrawn £213 also.

Finding posting on here before every trade difficult (the last two days I have mainly traded using the betfair mobile app on my iphone).

Will try to do better tommorrow and post more of my trades as I go onwards.

Next target is £376 upon reaching which I will withdraw £31.38 - step 13 in my trading progress. If I can reach step 50 I will have amassed a £10,000 bank and withdrawn almost as much!

Backing Chelsea to win for £82 - £37.42 profit if they do will take me up to a total bank of £119.42.

Chelsea on good form at the moment and the only reason this price is available is the impending champions league game and their performance v QPR previously however I think they have seen a considerable change in form and fully expect them to win quite easily today.

Currently 2-1 and i vave backed under 4.5 goals for £122 at 1.37 in order to trade out at about 1.19 to make £20 profit and cover my real loss

Not gone so well either. Goal within a minute of backing. Managed to back over 2.5 at 2.0 to realise a £40 loss either way. About 5 mins later a 5 th goal :-(

Bank at £82.

Looking to make a quickish trade. Backed correct score 3-0 at 7 for just £20. Hope to lay off to get a quick profit as I think there will now be a period of consolidation by both teams.

Placed a lay of 26.70 at 5.1 to get just over £6 profit whatever happens.

12:35am Now put a lay of correct score up at 1.9 for 3-0 for £30 (will lose £20 if it fails) as I expect one more in the dying minutes...

Well played Real in killing the game and securing victory however it means I turned a sucessful trade into an unsucessful gamble! Too inpatient to reach my £200 bank whish makes trading easier.

OK following Karslruhe U19 game bank now stands at £167.88.

Every time I reach a 20% increase in my bank I withdraw 10% of that 20% increase to give an overall increase in my bank.

I have been through this barrier twice more since I last withdrew so I am withdrawing £12.10 and £13.31 to give a total withdrawal of £25.41.

My bank therfore now stands at £142.47.

My next 20% target is £175.70 at which point I will withdraw £14.65.

Hope this makes some sense.

OK have decided to post my trading results here.
Why?
Previously had very sucessfull trading accounts under various usernames (an also some terrible experiments!).

I think I have now got the discipline and balance between pure gambling and trading correct. My last effort I turned £100 into £8000 before quiting (Liquidity starts becoming a problem at this point for me).

In order to prove myself that I can do this consistantly I am going to attempt to post my results as I go, purely for my own benefit, self satisfaction and discipline. I am very thick skinned and fully expect to get slagged etc - will try my best not to rise to it.

Some before pointers to my methods:

1) Mainly trade to get out a profit before a game or race and will settle for a loss to protect my bank. Aim to make small profits with each trade and get out early if the market goes against me - this often means I miss out on potentially profitable trades but thats just my method

2) Do gamble also with a martingale (but modified) system to regain losses.

3) Tend to lay below 2 and back over 2 - have lost much previously on 'sure wins' and gained masses on outside chances - psychologically it is terrible to back 1.1 etc and lose but winning by laying such results feels great! Also feel that is where the value lies - the unexpected happens more often than the odds suggest.

4) Reserve the right to aftertime etc My time is very limited - cant spend all day on here and will sometime make decisions on the fly - this is purely for my own benefit and I make no apologies if I dont post here first.

Oh....and I nearly always trade out when a result goes my way. Too often caught out by a profitable gamble turning into an unprofitable one. Always take the money when you can.
