I complained to the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) about a promotion from **** - it was £60 free bets matched to £60 bets placed via a mobile. They refused to give me the free bets because I placed it via my Blackberry which was not compatable with the specific website platform they were trying to get people to bet on (for iphone/android) and I was directed to their normal site (albeit with no information that the url I clicked was being re-directed)

**** wouldn't give me the free bets so I complained to the ASA who made **** give me the free bets and change their adverts. This was sorted even before IBAS acknowledged my e-mail.

Since living here, I have laughed at the advertising where you "win" your own money.

Betting "£10 returns you £32 if Arsenal wins" would be the way they should do it to make everything clear and have the same impact to the public.
