Well the topic says it all really. I was wondering if I place a bet on a horse now but something happens to it between now and the race and it can't run, do I get my stake refunded?

thanks in advance!

That's called Non-runner No Bet (NRNB), and it's what most of the firms are now advertising they're doing for The Cheltenham Festival. No doubt they will do this for the Grand National at some point; I'd guess not till after Cheltenham.
