good stat. this will show people who do martingale without anylogic that their losing runs can be amazingly long
By:
thx henok, these are nothing to do with martingale ive only heard of him on the forums,by keeping a daily diary on results you will find some strange stats theres plenty more out there,as someone mentioned on the horseracing forum, theres 3 really good jockeys if if there riding a horse thats sp is 2.5 or lower they rarely win. [ i could mention 5 but i wont ]

favs winning less races on a Sat is hardly surprising. Anybody should be able to work that one out.

By:
1 % it is to me,130 was your 1st race and at 200-1 sp let alone betfair sp thats way to high for me to take on a lay.however there not normally any where near that high.

DFC can easily be explained by bigger fields on the weekend
By:
good reply roadrunner46 thx and gl
By:
clydebank29 do you mean bigger fields saturdays and not the weekend ?
By:
Either the favourite has value or doesn't......and that is crucial factor.....1 % less favs winning on SATURDAY is irrelevant IMO.....
By:
What I meant is Saturday is the big raceday of the week and the racing calendar is structured so that big field handicaps are common place on Saturday
By:
I agree re point made CB29
....just don't believe the less favs winning on SATURDAY is relevant to laying them.......or backing them .Each race to be rated on own merits..... |
By:
dfc irrelivant to you, relivant to me,i often work 6 days and saturdays is often a good betting day for me. im more interested in positive replys than arguments for and against odd stats or hearin about odd stats that you dont normally read about in papers like the r.p.some stats can definatly provide winners.
By:
It was a "positive" reply/comment by me....as it is all about VALUE whether you back or lay a favourite ...or just ignore it as a bet....
I am being "positive" that you should disregard that stat ![]() ![]() GL though on SATURDAY bets... |

no worries dfc. ya seem to be doin well on your C.S thread.keep up the good work gl

re: Saturday fave's. I thought about this overnight and just returned to see DFCIRONMAN has posted the stats that scuppers the statement about fave's.
Though I agreed (without the stats), what I really find is that it is easier to read the fave's on a Saturday than any other day of the week when backing (or laying). So, for me, when backing fave's my stats are probably better on a Saturday than during the week. |

macrider....if it makes you feel better:
I've played two sets of numbers per draw. When they win 3 or 4 of 6, I replace them. I'd done some new numbers for the weekend and was going to do them when I got back from a day out with the family plus Mrs Shapeshifter's mother. It was one of those days when the 'mother-in-law' was getting on my nerves as a beautiful Saturday was being wasted with 'changing of minds', etc. I had 'mother-in-law' overdose at that moment. Because of a missed train as the mother-in law doddled in a shop, I realized I wouldn't get home to do the lottery as 7:30 approached so dashed into a shop then realized I didn't have the numbers in my wallet. I did them from memory though my brain was frazzled from spending the day with 'the mother-in-law' That Monday, I looked up the results. We landed 4 for around £75. I also noted we had the bonus which, like you, meant nothing. As I sat down to do the new set up numbers, I realized that when doing 'from memory', I had made one mistake putting an 18 instead of a 19. So be it. Then, I realized if I had done the numbers properly or had gotten home in time, I would have scored 5 plus the bonus which, that week, would have paid around £85,000. ![]() |

To the op: these systems should be thrown in the bin. Sorry to be so blunt, This is where common sense comes into play. Something has happened but is it sustainable for genuine reasons? That's what you have to ask when you find something. Maybe you Can dó something with the Chelsea 1-0, i'm a little surprised with that stat giving the manager's Open style. Unless you are counting mourinho's reign where the likelihood of 1-0 would have been manufactured into the price.

thx for the replys all.shapeshifter after reading your reply it did make me feel a whole lot better it definatly put a smile on my face,i can understand why so many dont get along with the in laws,at least with the lotto i see it that i started 4 lines weds and sat since dec last year and considerin i come that close and i have previosly also had a tenner off them,i feel im pickin them in the right direction.also the idea of changing numbers once a win has come from them sounds good to me.we shall see what tonights numbers bring [ wishfull thinking ]iqmc since postin that with chelsea it hasnt come in once that one is one for the bin.on saddle cloth number stats i do involve them when making selections whether backin or layin together with form and normal stats and i can honestly say they have helped me to make profit. gl all

macrider, been doing the 'number changes' since 1980 so the numbers that I have now have 'evolved' from that year.
I'm a believer in 'synchronicity' and events/numbers all take me down certain paths. Was the £85,000 supposed to be mine based on my numeric journey? Obviously not so either the universe knew I'll be better off without it in the long run or a bigger prize is actually in the card for me ![]() |

my favourite stats for my team blackburn rovers.
1:no clean sheet since april 2011 against bolton well over 30 games. 2: both teams have scored in all blackburn's away games apart from man city last weekend. fill your boots lads aston villa at home this weekend ![]() |
By:
thx smithy91,will look out for villa,my favourite teams wolves but i rarely back or lay em there way too unpreditable.gl

hi macrider. very hard to find an edge on your own team as you always fear the worst whenever they play and then they get shock results when you don't expect them to. eg rovers 3-2 man utd at old trafford man u 1.13 blackburn 36
![]() one thing is virtually guaranteed though goals with blackburn. |
