In theory a sport called say English Premier League should take place in England and it does 95% of the time, and that's not too bad. Likewose the SPL scores 100% and Scottish Division 3 scores 90% ( due to Berwick still being in England ). The Tour de France usually takes place 90%+ of the time in France, so also ok.
But Golf's European tour scores 50% on the same method ( as a lot of events aren't in Europe ) and that's starting to take the p1ss. And for a while I thought that was the worst example of its kind, but I've just discovered an even worse one. Can anyone name a sporting event that goes below 50%?
Can't count I think jimmy - I think it's the Paris-Dacca/Dakar rally, so it's from one place to another place, so scores 100%. 1956 Olympic Games scores 90+% as will the 2012 London Olympics as there's a bit of Weymouth action.

Well played jimmy - I wasn't aware of the changes and have to concede. It must score 0% and is a clear winner for you.
I was thinking of the Monte Carlo Rally at around 10% as the least geographical, but it clearly isn't

The best so far imv. Doesn't involve the place it's named after, and the place it's named after isn't named that any more. -100%.
