Help needed........

I put a bet on today in a bookies. I wrote on my slip over 38.5pts but the lady never checked that this was right. The actual line was over 36.5pts. What will happen to my bet? Will it be void? As there were no odds for my selection.

If the rest of it is clear it should be settled as such.

It should be settled at the correct handicap at the time you placed the bet, but it will vary by bookie.

Where you have included an incorrect range for a stats bet your bet will stand for the correct range available for the bet requested. For example, if a market of over 90 points is advertised and a bet is accepted nominating over 80 points, then the bet will be settled on the market over 90 points.

That's the closest applicable rule for Coral for instance.

Suggest you google Bookie shop rules (replacing bookie with where you had the bet)
