Let's say I wanna bet on a game and while the countdown is active i change my mind. Is there any way I can stop the bet? Even closing the tab or clicking somewhere else doesn't work. So does the page accept the bet the second i click and only if the odds change (or whatever) the bet is cancelled?

I don't think it's possible to stop the bet going through.  I just tried killing the internet connection during the countdown and that didn't work either.

the bet goes straight to BF, they just delay placing it by how ever many seconds are set up. So no u cancel it, until its on the site (if it hasnt already been matched)

You're not allowed to cancel during the countdown as otherwise there'd be no liquidity in the flies-round-sh1te markets.

Impossible to stop, the countdown is the amount of time they have to play with your bet.
You can't stop the bot.

Allowing bets to be cancelled during the countdown would be tantamount to allowing people to bet with zero time delay.

Prele, only ever try to match existing offers if you're sure nothing will happen during the countdown. Go on to tennis game betting and try to bet £2 at the current odds on each contestant just as the player serves. Do this numerous times and you'll notice the following. If the point is won during the countdown your bet on the player who won the point won't be matched whereas your bet on the player who lost will be matched.

Immediately unplug your PC and throw it out of the window

You would basically be cheating if you could do this.

Feck's reply is true, but judging by your question Prele I don't think you'll understand the point?

'Immediately unplug your PC and throw it out of the window'

This is the only thing i've found that works

There used to be a betting exchange called Trade sports dot com which had a 5 second delay but allowed customers to cancel a bet mid-4 seconds. Very few people on that site, including the management, figured out that, as Contrarian said, that's tantamount to allowing people to bet with zero time delay.

I mean it was a 4 second delay and you could cancel your bet anytime before the 4 seconds were up.
