So after reading Plechys thread and his theory on 14 even money shots to win 150000 which was fascinating i have decided to have a go myself with a couple of changes. I know it is easy saying that I have to be patient and wait for the right bet but i honestly am goin to try. So i have opened a paddy power account and started with a bank of £20. The reason being Im not going to be tempted to lay it off on betfair.

Here is my stradegy I am going to back 1/3 to 1/2 shots average 2/5...In doing so I have set a realistic target of £15000..Which is roughly 19 or 20 bets..

I am refusing to back horses and greyhounds as i feel that and it is best to bet on longer events. I will be prodominently betting on Europes elite football teams, rugby, tennis , darts and gaelic football a sport that i believe i have good knowledge about...

The target is to have the money by the 1st of May.. but i will probably lose first bet

Anyway here it goes 1st bet £20 Mervyn King 4/9 to beat van gerwen...

This sort of thing has been tried so many times
and, if you have a run of success,
will you really put 100s/1000s on your 1/2 shot?
