CORRECT SCORE BACKING PROJECT.
I have been predicting correct scores with certain success and from now on I will post some in here for those who wants to follow along with my laying teams thread.
Remember that the strike rate doesn't need to be high, we only need one winner here and there and we are in profit.
Lowest odd I hit was 6.2 and highest 21.
I'm backing these correct scores with flat staking, 10 points each.

Last saturday I only hit one CS at 8.0, so it was a losing day, yesterday I hit more and it was profitable, but it takes me a lot of time to enter all selections into my CS predictions system and then post them in here, and there were not many people interested.
For the game you mentioned I like 0-1 at 10.5
The thing is I only chose 1 CS per game, no dutching at all. So, you need only 2 o 3 hits out of around 15 to be in profit.

Please don't think lack of replys is lack of interest. Personally I prefer these threads when they are clean of chatter, although I occasionally pip in some encouragement!
So many people jack it in after 1 or 2 losing weeks but please don't. Even if you don't actually bet them, please continue picking and running the stats. Losing threads are just as interesting as winning ones. (And not for reasons of schadenfreude.)

fair enough trader11, but i am interested in 'how' you come up with your selections ; ie is your system statistics based or form based or just personal selections... not after specific details of course... just interested.
for example, my method is market based, in that i use the markets themselves to point me to 'value'.
('Value betting' in Correct scores - is when your average dividend is higher than your average strike rate.)

I just back them at whatever price is available, well, not really, I always ask for 1 or 2 more ticks, but if not matched then I take whatever is available 2 mins before ko.

trader, if you are confident in the theory of your system, stick with it... Correct score betting is Torture !
it takes hundreds, even thousands of samples to be sure a method is profitable. Because your average odds are probably around 12.0 or more , the winning streaks can be fantastic, but so too the losing streaks can be devastating to your balance. ( Been there ! )

It was really frustrating today. About 5 CS failed for only 1 goal, that's why it could have been a great day, but it wasn't.

I'm dropping this project. It doesn't show profits. Will concentrate in my laying thread which is the one showing the best results.
trader 11 thats a shame.. 1 week is very short term to say if it generates profits or not... why not paper trade/bet... but i guess it must be a drain on your time
