Oh and btw nothing personal to either any famour female sports stars or fir muscular women out there, who might be reading this forum.
Don't want to start a sex war on here.
And no, just to preempt the expected retort, I'm not a misogynist at all.
It's really only in the sports arena that I have any anti-women emotions at all.

FAFH - surprised nobody has taken this bait.......probably all too busy doing the dishes.

But on a serious note, there are some very fine lady jockeys and they are often under bet imo

The lass that won the 13:20 at Edinburgh today is a fine example.

I was in the local florist the other day and the lass who owns it was on Betfair on her laptop.

One of the shrewdest punters I knew (20 odd years ago) was a lady florist. Pretty girl - had no trouble getting on each way in the filthy each way races.

Yeah I'm surprised too. I'm rolling out enough line after all.
I actually really have no problems with women in certain areas of popular sport, racing tennisand golf being the obvious ones. Absolutely nothing wrong with women jockeys imo.
But when it comes to women wearing boxes ( as presumably they must do in cricket), then come on.
But I don't go as far as one commentator who ( jokingly ? )said that women cycle races at the olympics should involve shopping baskets on the front. Or do I ?
Wouldn't want ( these days) to be known as the Jeremy Clarkson of the gbf !

It's interesting to note that whilst TV stations do use women sports presenters to appeal to women viewers presumably,

Tennis,Hockey,Swimming,Netball,Badminton - women sports

Rugby,Soccer,Golf,Horse-racing,Cricket,Ice Hockey,Baseball -men sports

you can't really argue with that - so yes, women have a very valid place in sport

Boxing / Wrestling - male of course from a playing perspective (although a lot of women i know love to watch boxing -so maybe not sure )

you have to laugh at people being up and arms about there not being any female sports personality nominee, there are no women there because they are none within thelast year that should be, as simple as that.

Name one that deserves to be on the list.

PC brigade incoming.....

i enjoy women's tennis i must admit.

greenviking - have you known many women in your time? can't imagine it with you being such a nasty swine that's all
By:

Some women like nasty swines.
Just as some of them like simple souls frimpong.
Women's tennis would be far more enjoyable without the somewhat excessive grunting.
Very unfeminine.

Frimpong similar remarks were made to you on here many times about your non interaction with the female of the species and the world in general. Now you are just trying to project what you dont like about yourself onto others.
In reality all this does is further highlight your inability to think for yourself, well done.
As for the answer to your question(feeble attempt at an insult)yes I used to know a lot of women. Not so many now but I do know my wife pretty well.

Yep you're right.
It's all in the eye of the beholder.
But trying to be kind, I would simply say that maybe you're too nice to be ahead.

Yeah I'm a woman and I'm on here nearly 3 years. I think there is lots of us but probably not many on the forum. I think the forum is a waste of a persons  time except maybe now and again for team news or something like that. Twitter or Facebook is the place to be.For whats its worth I bet on Soccer, American football Golf and the odd time Rugby. Not really into betting on Horses now since they moved all the big races to Saturday. Lots of other things to do on a Saturday than sit in front of the Telly than watching horse racing. Yeap SHOPPING.......Anyway I think watching horse racing these days since they changed the whip rules is like watching Greyhounds eg if your not in the first two coming into the straight your bet is as good as gone. So it has turned into a bit of a YAWN....( nearly prefer to watch Cricket now)Some of my friends also bet we try to bet against each other on the other site which is quieter. She my best friend she likes betting on the rugby and golf especially the golf match ups.She seems to do quite well on it. She also loves betting on the Rugby. Actually the race is on now to who pays the PC first. By then I probably give it up or at least cut it back. Either way I don't plan to do this for more than 5 years. I reckon by then the novelty for me will have wore off.Got to go now and cheer on PHILLY in the NFL match tonight. Not sure how long i last before i head off for my beauty sleep

good to hear that ladies are among us. as u seem to be an eperianced gambler i have some questions, hope u dont mind. i always wonder about the psychology of betting? how do u handle the ups and downs of betting? do u chase when you lose? how much is the risk u are willing to take? do u think  females have  an emotional or whatever advantage or disadvantege over male gamblers?

Btw frimpong, your chat name invokes images of a " pet poodle", whilst greenviking invokes images of a " vicious pitbull ".
Guess who people might think might be ahead on that basis ?.
All good fun though eh ?

Myself,my wife and my friends have pretty much the same sense of humour. You see unlike you this forum is not the totality of my life, its merely good for a laugh, especially clowns like you.You see where Im going with this?
The way you go on you would swear people attacked you in public with your seething and childlike insults.Your nonstop begging and braindead posts coupled with your lack of knowledge of basic English phrases invites critical posts,it asks for them. There is no way you have had much real world exposure.
Go and get some is the best suggestion I have for you because you seem unable to handle the truth(even if it is only posted on an internet forum).

Why are you taking frimpong so seriously ?
Is what he/she says or thinks that important to you ?
By:
frimpong
When: 06 Dec 11 20:57
he's said these things to me FAFH and he's a father. what a disgraceful twisted specimen he is!!
By:

When: 06 Dec 11 21:01
Im not a father!FFS.
You repeating what was said to you again as an insult to someone else-no ingenuity all over again, keep going Paul ridicule yourself even more, seethe on seethe on.
I have just tried to point out FAFH i am not taking him seriously-I laugh at him when he seethes.
Anyway Im off to crossrail project on night shift,Laters
