I had a look at this... they fared a little better than expected...
if I'm correct the premium charge was only in effect for a maximum of 3 weeks (18/7, 25/7, 31/7) during this financial reporting period (1/5/2011-31/7/2011) so it must be proving pretty lucrative...
It looks to me something like £0.5m per week... which would be the fabled 500 customers paying an extra 10k per week.
Is the charge structured such that these people will pay more in the first weeks they are charged due (as their lifetime comm number increases to the set level)?

I should correct myself... as betfair have said - the PC is designed to ensure they capture more of each punters wallet, so this might have provided the boost (as opposed to direct PC revenue)
