Inspired by undern I'm gonna try to turn 2.5K into 100K. The plan is easy ;) 5% bank increase each day and it should take me about 80 days in theory, haha. I will attempt to change my kamikaze style into a solid and profitable one. Posting my results on here will hopefully give me some extra discipline.
I started two days ago on the second day of the US Open and was able to create a bit of a margin to play with in the upcoming days / weeks with a nice profit of 1811.22 €. Meaning I am about 1553 € ahead on schedule. I did sweat a couple of times, for example when Simon took it to a fifth set instead of finishing it in four with a 2K liability, but I plan to avoid these kind of situations in the future bearing my long-term goal in mind.
To make this plan work I will need to tighten my game a lot. I think it might do me good to stop betting once I made it to my daily goal.
I placed a €150 multiple bet that I lost (thanks Almagro!), so profit at the moment is €1,811.22.
Target today is €138.85
However, here are my results of the first two days. Continuing like this will end up in a disaster, but I'm awear of that :)Horse Racing: €462.08 | Soccer: -€113.44 | Tennis: €1,612.58 Total P&L: €1,961.22I placed a €150 multiple bet that
bad start on day 3 :(:( had some small wins on the horses when I lost €166. just covered it again with some small wins, when I checked the football bet I placed. khimki penalty in 93' hurt me bigtime...
Horse Racing: €0.79 | Soccer: -€1,028.40 Total P&L: -€1,027.61
Soccer / Khimki v Chernomorets N : Match Odds 01-Sep-11 14:00 01-Sep-11 15:52 -28.40 Soccer / Khimki v Chernomorets N : Over/Under 2.5 goals 01-Sep-11 14:00 01-Sep-11 15:52 -1,000.00
the fact that I had a +€1800 profit in the first two days helps to town down the loss. chasing would be stupid. will start again to make my €138.85 target of today to keep focus and forget about the 1K loss

When I started my challenge with the same starting bank I set about trying to win £6 per horse race so I hope you don't bust your bank too quickly.
All the best with it.

rough day yesterday. lost way too big on tennis. bank -€876.82 without my tennis bets I would still be in profit, so think I won't touch any tennis anymore as I always get swept away

won 500 on football and horses, start looking at the monfils game when he was behind in the set. backed him at 2 for 200, lay at 1.4, he breaks back everything great. then when he breaks again I decide to back him as set 1 winner for 1.2K and once more it blows up in my face
I have 400 left from the 2K I deposited. without tennis I would be up for about 600. I hate myself at this point

You got lucky on the previous day, you took a heavy loss on the horses and it looks as though you chased you losses by lumping on the Lopez/Bogomolov match. Stop looking for quick gains, slow down and show patience. Id encourage you to take a break, you probably feel like you need to get that money back quickly which could only lead to more bad decisions.

No, it's not easy. However, at the moment your betting is so totally out of control that you have absolutely no chance of being successful unless you fix your problems quickly. It's clear you don't seem to be able to stop yourself from taking bets that you know you shouldn't be taking. I really don't know how to advise you on how to stop yourself touching tennis bets (although the tennis season will shortly be drawing to a close for a few weeks, so that little problem should take care of itself for a short period).
I would suggest you take out all but about £50 of the money you have left and try and bet with it as carefully as you can. Perhaps open up a Moneybookers account or something and then set the deposit limits so that you can only move £50 or so into your Betfair account each day. That should make you treat your money with greater care. The first thing you've got to do is to condition yourself not to take stupid bets. And if you are taking stupid bets, you need to be risking as little money as possible.
