Feck has it right imo. The vast majority of theft is taking place at the top. It is quite ironic to think that those very same people call it a "sick society" when they are literally looting as well, just a different form of it.

As for shooting people on sight, this is more a fear based frustrated comment that is currently widespread and whilst I have compassion and understanding as to why people are saying it, the reality of doing something like that is quite ridiculous. Violence breeds violence. You cant throw fire onto something and expect it to stop burning.

If you were to liken society to a human body, you could say it is in a state of depression and self-harming as a way of drawning attention to the issues causing the dis-ease. The solution therefore is not suicide.
