r.e. pmbets post, interesting idea pushing the basic comm charge up but thats going to have a massive effect on any edge and other exchanges then offering lower comms rate then has a better edge, no adjusting the comm charge wouldn't work, thats at source and too anti-exchange policy as the idea is to propagate an edge in a marketable chance event not reduce it!
The premium charge is the best solution all round, its not stopping you from winning, just stops you from winning huge amounts off other punters and taking it all away, no longer can you shop till you or betfair drops lol |

I get back to a guy like Peter Webb at BetAngle...Peter made BetAngle to make money , but betfair wanted guys like Peter to make software for betfair, betfair wanted traders and trading software...
To now say to Peter that he has to pay 60%, that Peter's $125 a race win, is just to much money, is jsut a f-cking joke (not sure how much Peter loser/win, just see on he blog, never look like much) if betfair really does need 60% from the like of Peter , to cover betfair, then betfair is a f-cked company |

The only trouble is that maybe it's going to be all uphill from now on the other exchange(s) as they try to make money from you with their existing charge structures.You could be in for a bit of a shock maybe ?
what to do...wait for PC3? In the meantime maybe BF might even thrive without you. I'm sure betfair can live with out me  but Im sure betfair will find it hard with out PC 500 (PC 500 have a goond ring to it ) their is a lot of Cash their, and it's leaving |

Did you know that there are 136 apps listed in the solutions directory here on Betfair? These apps include bots and trading software where, surprise, surprise, you can bet on BF.
If they don't want the big traders and bot users, then surely you have to stop all the apps. You can't have your cake and eat it to. |

Stating a company doesn't want a sector of its customers purely because they invoke a premium charge upon them is nonsense or are people still under the delusion that there are viable alternatives or like naughty children that didn't get the biggest present will run away from home!
