I may in fact gamble more than most on here. Whilst I don't trade I do bet pre-off in reasonably large volumes, putting up prices quite often 24 hrs before the off. As I bet 100% manually, I have to check very, very regularly to see if prices are being taken and in what amounts, if mkts have moved into macro levels that make my prices out of whack etc etc. Hence I monitor things maybe more than most ( but not all) on here, not just when the events are in play. I just pop into the forum to amuse myself. A bit of light reading to offset the repetition of checking and adjusting prices, which is all done based on algoritms. For sure it could probably all be done with a bot, but as I am personally so extremely time rich as it is, it would leave me with virtually nothing to do all day, apart from swimming and drinking, which I do to large excess in any case. Surely you wouldn't want me to get a real job would you? That would really against the consensus ethos on here wouldn't it ? |

I do not know if it may be possible to set up a successful rival exchange. But I do know that the likes of pxb will not be able to do it. That's all. He's harmless to me, but to himself ? Now that's an entirely different matter. He sort of reminds me in a way of the O'Dwyer character everybody seems to be going on about on here. I haven't caught up with O'Dwyer's blog or posts at all, but it does all sound a bit similar. Sad and dreamy and delusional. |
