Out of the 480 £people" how many are bookmakers?
Over 1,000 markets, thats a lot of markets, are they meaning different markets or a total of 1000 markets? 40% seems a bit high considering you don't pay anything at bookies, which is leading me to believe it's bookies they know are using betfair |

I think I have done thousands and thousands of bets yet over the last 6 years I am pretty much even money wise, and slightly in profit with the bookies ... when I look at it that way it's a hobby, doesn't cost me anything but doesn't gain me much either. Just glad they dont do charges based on stakes cause with my 1.01 bets I was betting average about £1000 every 4 bets

Is that all it says Schalke, does it not have number of markets, on the left? Long before you start paying PC you have a "pre allowance" and that page shows how much of it is left, it doesn't just appear for who've paid PC (unless they've changed it). |

When they introduced the PC only those liable to pay it had access to the original link (I can't remember if it was the same). I tried then. I just tried the above link and have seen the same message that Schalke has seen. Why only PC players have access to their own stats? It's a good mistery. |

Strange. Maybe it's available only once you meet ANY of the criteria or something.
Certainly there is little point in having a pre allowance and the various indicators of if you're elligble or not according to various critera if you can't see it! |

well im definitely not a bookmaker schalke and ive bet on nearly 40,000 markets since i started.
some of the 480 will be courtsiders and hooverers and poss bookmakers. i definitely dont do any of that, and bet purely off sky,terrestial, eurosport etc. if u stick to betting on a select few sports and know them inside out and have a good grasp of what the odds should be in running then u can make gd money without having a massive edge with feed etc. |

If the purple site had any sense they would offer you big players 1% commission on all winnings up to any level for 3 years. Get some liquidity into the markets and the smaller fish like me will follow the liquidity. Betfair keep shooting themselves in the foot and Betd@q still doesn't attack.

This topic was created 2 years ago. On that day I didn't know anybody who were among theese 480, but I had friends who menaged pretty well on betfair markets. Today I and 3 other people I know already qualified for this charges 3 other people will qulify in 2014, so I supose this number is much higher now. I can estimate ca. 2000. |
