Im considering upping my stakes and concentrating on in-running....cant decide whether in-running easier than betting before the event ? Is it possible to make consistent profits on football ?

More chance of profits in football then anywhere else. IMO
Football stats are much more reliable than horse form.

football betting easier than horses...study the form and you have time to get out sometimes if you get it wrong

I honestly will never know how people make long term profit  from Horse racing, I've tried and failed, it's too difficult, obviously people do and know something I don't, you can study form but still end up in the poor house. I spend my energy in Tennis instead.

Somebody could repeat your last post and put tennis in the first sentence and HR in the second.
We have all got different skills and interests.

I would summarize my betting preeference as those sports involving teams rather than individuals.
Less room for fixing and manipulation and player mood swings etc.

I'm sure they could Froggy, but Horse Racing is a sport - if you can call it that, that is much more prone to fixing and manipulation, to put it bluntly, at least with Tennis you feel as if you're getting fairer crack at the whip when trading Top Level tennis.

Relying partly on an animal to me money is not my cup of tea, especially as the Jockey on top is never in full control either, it's a minefield of if's buts and maybe's, and full credit goes to those who make a substantial amount of profit, as I personally know of nobody who does, but then again, I don't mix in such affluent circles.Sad
